FAMILIES
Treasured moments with your greatest blessings.
One of the best tips I can give you (that you won’t want to hear) is let your kids be kids. Bring the favorite toy, don’t stress if their once-perfect hair gets unruly, or if they get mud on their clothes. During our time together I want you to be present, love on, and play with your kids.
Imagine…
Your home bathed in morning light while you finish making cookie dough with your family. You sit together and open your old Children’s Bible — your kids snuggled on either side, eager to hear the words on the pages brought to life by daddy’s voice.
The sun is setting over the farm as your family wanders through the fields to check on the animals — a couple of chickens scramble past and your kids chase after them, barefoot in the evening light. You realize this is what it’s all about — slow moments like this.
It’s you and your people, gathered at the park with your favorite pizza box in hand. Your children rollerblade, play with chalk and laugh at mommy for getting pizza sauce on her face. Just when the kids think dinner is over, you whip out their favorite ice cream bars for dessert. The look on their faces — JOY.
